The 22nd Annual Summit “Invisible No More” will be held on October 25-26, 2018 at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Acme, MI. The keynote speaker is Dr. Brenda Jones-Harden from the University of Maryland Institute for Child Study Department of Human Development and Quantitative Methodology. On October 25, 2018, Dr. Jones-Harden will give a brief review of brain science, which points to the plasticity of the human brain during the first three years of life, and its implications for infant/toddler development. She will also discuss the research on the experiences of infants and toddlers in the child welfare system, including their epidemiological and developmental trajectories.
