It is our honor to extend an invitation to all of you to attend the 70th Annual Michigan Council for Exceptional Children Conference. The MCEC Board is dedicated to supporting the professional development needs in the field of exceptional education. Our goal is to extend the capabilities of all educators and administrators who are working to improve the educational outcomes for students with disabilities. This year, we are kicking off Thursday morning with the State of the State address by Dr. Jacquelyn Thompson, Director of the Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services in Michigan. She provides us with updates in the field of special education and future expectations.
